Sharing Diagnosis with children/adolescents:
It is sometimes daunting for parents to share diagnoses with their children. Dr. Bruhl offers a one-to-one appointment with the child/adolescent to explain their neurodiverse profile in the most adapted and age-appropriate manner. It is aimed at helping children to understand and receive their diagnoses positively.
-
Parental Support:
After sharing the evaluation report, 1 or several follow-up sessions with parents are offered to help them adjust the home environment and implement home recommendations suggested in the report. Appointments
-
Establishment of a Home Interventions Plan (HIP):
Neurodiverse children thrive on structure and predictability. Parents can support their daily life situations with a HIP support. The HIP is established from the recommendations made in the evaluation report. It is practical version of the evaluation report with goals/targets that take all the pertinent strategies given in the report and transform them into a practical ‘Action Plan’. Parents can use it on a daily basis to support their child at home through various aspects of their life efficiently (learning, social, emotional regulation and behavioural).-
After sufficient meaningful discussion with the parents and the evaluation report of the child, a custom-designed HIP is created.
-
This can essentially be the parents’ manual to helping their child attain autonomy while maintaining mental composur
-
The profile of the child is closely studied and analysed in the light of the family environment and exposure outside of school.
-
HIP is a versatile service and its format can vary depending on the child’s requirement, age and profile.
-
Periodic meetings may be held to update the HIP considering the progress made, benchmarks achieved and new goals to be integrated.

-
EVALUATION-INFORMED ILP (Individualised Learning Plan):
The ILP process has organically evolved out of the nature of our practice at EVALUATION CENTRE, given our keenness to optimise learning for each of our children with such preciously unique profiles.-
The work is rooted in complete understanding of your child's psychological assessment.
-
With the collective cooperation, this is further amalgamated with the insights of all key professionals closely involved in the child's education (teachers, learning support teachers, speech and occupational therapists) and the parents.
-
All the data is synthesised and drafted into a learning plan to support the child and their teachers through the academic process.
-
This is a functional document that grows with the child.
